    Blavity is looking for qualified interns to join our Creative team. Our Creative team works on everything from sales, marketing to video and social media to tell unique stories and promote partnership campaigns with brands.

    This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and be excited about working on Illustrations and animations, printed materials and wearable items, typography, layout, logo and brand development.

    This internship is based in LA but can be done remotely.

    Traditional visual designers, animators and cartoonist are encouraged to apply.

    Responsibilities

    Resize imagery for various social channels and ad placements
    Prepare files for web upload
    Create supporting graphics within a design template, including charts, tables and stock imagery and illustration
    Design and layout of collateral pieces, social images, presentations and banners
    Design project support for the Marketing and Video team as needed
    Create and deliver designs for clients and new business opportunities
    Requirements

    Available to commit to being available at least 3 days a week
    Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Superb attention to detail while juggling multiple projects, priorities and deadlines
    Understand the behaviors and best practices associated with design, communication and marketing
    Shows a sense of urgency with requests and time sensitive projects
    Proactive and resourceful to get work done
    Proficient in Mac platform design applications such as Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
    Provide a solid online portfolio
    This position does have a stipend. We also support students who are interested in receiving college credit.
