    Job Summary:

    As a member of our Government and Public Sector (G&PS) Team, you will join a talented group of professionals, serving in key roles advising US Federal Agencies addressing issues in performance improvement, program effectiveness, financial management and IT advisory. Our team focuses on national priorities in Defense, Recovery and Infrastructure Investment, National Security and Health. The development and high growth of our G&PS business is a global strategic imperative for our firm.
    We currently are seeking a highly motivated Senior Supply Chain Consultant to support client engagement teams, work with a wide variety of Federal government clients to deliver professional services, and participate in business development activities on strategic and global priority accounts with a focus in Procurement.

    The Procurement Transformation practice is structured into three pillars: Procurement Optimization, Category Management & Strategic Sourcing and Total Supplier Risk. The Procurement: Optimization pillar focuses on procurement operating model design, P2P, supplier relationship management, technology optimization and procurement performance management. Category Management & Strategic Sourcing provides spend analytics, category strategy, sourcing and contract management expertise. Total Supplier Risk creates visibility, evaluates and implements mitigation actions to risks throughout a client's supply base
    Job Summary:

    Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels

    Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
    Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business
    Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge

    Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge
    To qualify, candidates must have:
    A bachelor's degree and approximately 4 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 2-3 years of related work experience
    A degree with an emphasis in emphasis in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics
    Experience in providing advisory services in the supply chain and other operational areas that impact the supply chain function (e.g., assessments, supply chain strategy, distribution/logistics (inbound, outbound, return), inventory management, procurement and sourcing, lean-six sigma, sales and operations planning, cost reduction, etc.)
    Characteristics of a forward thinker and self-motivator that thrives on new challenges and adapts to learning new knowledge
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    Excellent oral and written communication skills
    Have project management and Advisory experience working with Federal Clients
    Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance or higher
